A Grand Send-Off: Brunp President's Message to CSU Graduates—"Stay True to Long-Term Value, Carry Invisible Strength into the World"

In the warm days of June, farewell melodies fill the air. On the morning of June 22, the 2026 Graduation Ceremony and Degree Conferment of Central South University (CSU) was held at the gymnasium of the Xiaoxiang Campus. A total of 16,386 graduates are now setting out across the country, carrying with them knowledge, well-wishes, and big dreams.

CSU Party Secretary An Shi, President Li Jiancheng, other university leaders, and Chinese Academy of Engineering academician Li Xibing attended the ceremony. Li Changdong, Chairman and President of Brunp Recycling, took the stage to share a message as a representative of CSU's adjunct mentors.

Drawing from his own journey of building a business from the ground up, Li Changdong shared three guiding principles with the graduates: First, aim high — anchor yourself in social value with a lofty sense of purpose. Second, always innovate — forge real, hard-won capabilities through relentless innovation. Third, embrace challenges — temper your resilience and character by stepping up with responsibility.

He concluded his message by encouraging the graduates to carry forward the CSU spirit of "uniting knowledge and action, and serving the nation and the world." He urged them to apply what they have learned, sharpen their skills through practice, and contribute the wisdom and strength of CSU students to China's development and national rejuvenation. He wished them passion in their hearts, perseverance on the journey ahead, and lives worthy of the times and the nation.
