Nine Factories in Six Major Global Bases of Brunp have Obtained Zero Carbon Certification and Brunp Launched Carbon Tariff Strategic Cooperation Research

On April 22th, the press conference of nine global zero carbon factories of Brunp and the signing ceremony of carbon tariff strategic cooperation research were officially held. The world famous certification agency SGS issued PAS2060 carbon neutrality certification for nine zero carbon factories of Brunp.

Brunp has established six bases in Foshan, Changsha, Yichang, Pingnan, Fuding and Indonesia. Their businesses cover all key links in the upstream and downstream of the cycle industry chain, meticulously optimizing the carbon reduction potential from recycling to products, and constructing a "full chain zero carbon" model that covers the entire battery cycle industry chain.

Currently, Brunp has two national level green factories and two green design products recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China. In 2023, the "Key Technology and Application of Green and Low Carbon Materials for Recycling and Reconstructing Retired Lithium Batteries" led by Brunp was selected for the first prize of the "2022 Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award", becoming the first provincial and ministerial level science and technology progress award in the recycling field to focus on green and low carbon innovation.

Qiao Yu, Vice Mayor of Foshan Municipal People's Government, congratulated the nine factories of Brunp on obtaining zero carbon certification, and encouraged Brunp continue to strive on the path of green, low-carbon and sustainable development.

Yang Yunguang, Vice President of Brunp delivered a welcome speech for the press conference.

Brunp Vice President Yu Haijun gave a report on the green, low-carbon development path of Brunp for 18 years.

Brunp announced that it will cooperate with CATL to achieve carbon neutrality in core operations in 2025 and carbon neutrality in the value chain in 2035.

Representatives from suppliers such as Huayou Cobalt、Jiana Energy、ISKY attended the conference and signed the "Low Carbon Commitment Letter". In the future, they will work together with Brunp to create a lower carbon development model.

At the meeting, Science and Technology Research Center of China Customs, China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd and Guangdong Brunp Recycling Technology Co., Ltd jointly signed the "Carbon Tariff Strategy Research Cooperation Agreement". In the future, the three parties will strengthen cooperation and work together to carry out strategic research on carbon border regulation mechanisms and product import and export dialogue mechanisms, to promote the smooth and orderly progress of global green, low-carbon and sustainable development.
