Brunp attended the China-Philippines Business Round-Table Meeting

On January 4th, Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos, President of the Philippines visited China. The next day, Marcos attended the China-Philippines "Round Table on Nickel Ore Processing, Battery/Electric Vehicle Industry" in Beijing. Brunp was invited to attend the round-table meeting as the representative of outstanding enterprises in the field of new energy industry.
Marcos introduced that the Philippines standardized the development of electric vehicle industry and removed the mining ban in 2021. He said that the Philippines has a good business environment and will introduce more preferential policies in the future. The Department of Trade and Industry, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, and the Department of Energy will work together to create a better environment for Chinese new energy industry enterprises.
Zhai Feng, vice president of Brunp introduced that Brunp is a global leading company for resource-based recycling of used lithium batteries and high-end battery materials manufacture. Our main businesses include used lithium battery recycling, mineral resource development and battery materials manufacture. In recent years, the global market share of Brunp is rising continuously.
Zhai Feng said that the Philippines is a friendly partner of China in building the Belt and Road and is rich in natural resources, human resources and etc. Over the past few years, the Philippines has been the largest countries from which China directly imports nickel ore, and Nickel is one of the key metals used for new energy batteries. Brunp hopes to learn more about the Philippines and explore more cooperation opportunities in the field of new energy.
