The Launch Meeting for the Development of Customs Recycled Materials Standards was Held in Brunp

On June 6th, Guangdong Brunp Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Customs Technology Center held the signing ceremony for scientific research cooperation on lithium-ion battery renewable materials and the launch meeting for customs SN standard development.

Xiao Qian, Director of Industrial Raw Materials Research Institute of Guangzhou Customs Technology Center, and Li Yang, Manager of Brunp Supply Chain Center, signed the scientific research cooperation agreement as representatives. Both sides will deepen cooperation, accelerate the development of the world's first series of standards for the identification methods of lithium-ion battery recycled materials, standardize the inspection of imported crude nickel cobalt raw materials and crude lithium raw materials, fill the technical gap in the existing identification standards, and strengthen the security and stability of China's resource supply chain.

Zhang Zhenkun, deputy director of Guangzhou Customs Technical Center, said that renewable materials play an important role in the EV battery supply chain. In the future, Guangzhou Customs Technical Center hope to work with leading enterprises in the new energy industry such as Brunp, scientific research institutes, colleges and universities to  develop a series of SN standards, standardize the identification methods of inspection institutions, and contribute to ensuring the stability of strategic resource supply.

Brunp said that through this signing, Brunp will strengthen cooperation with Guangzhou Customs Technology Center in the field of recycled material identification method standards and ensure the high-quality and sustainable development of the new energy vehicle industry.
