First in Indonesia’s Recycling Sector! Brunp Recycling’s Overseas Base Laboratory Granted CNAS National Accreditation

Recently, the laboratory at Brunp Recycling’s Morowali Base has successfully passed the evaluation by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and obtained the accreditation certificate (Registration No.: CNAS L24403). This marks that the laboratory has met national accreditation standards in quality management, technical capability, professional proficiency of personnel, laboratory facilities and environment. It has also become Indonesia’s first officially accredited testing institution in the waste lithium battery recycling and resource utilization industry.

About the CNAS Laboratory Accreditation Certificate

CNAS, the full name of which is China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment, is a national accreditation body approved and authorized by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China.

As Brunp Recycling’s first overseas recycling base, the Morowali Base is Indonesia’s first enterprise engaged in waste lithium battery recycling and resource utilization. Its core products, including refined nickel-cobalt-manganese metal solution and battery-grade lithium carbonate, can meet the raw material demand of new energy enterprises in Indonesia and across the globe, boosting the high-quality development of the global new energy industry.

Rooted in the battery recycling and circular utilization sector, the Morowali Base has continuously optimized its production and operation management system, making solid progress in safety & environmental protection, quality control and testing capabilities to build core competitiveness. The scope of this accreditation covers testing of secondary battery waste, crude nickel-cobalt hydroxide, lithium carbonate, as well as water quality including surface water and industrial wastewater.

The CNAS laboratory accreditation is a high recognition from the expert evaluation panel for the company’s inspection and testing work, and also a strong guarantee for improving product quality and market competitiveness.
