Vice Chairman He Wei of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Leads a Delegation to Inspect Brunp Recycling

Recently, Vice Chairman He Wei of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress(NPC) led an NPC Standing Committee law enforcement inspection group to Guangdong Province to inspect the implementation of the Circular Economy Promotion Law. On October 11, the inspection group visited Brunp Recycling to learn in detail about the company’s power battery recycling and resource utilization, as well as its circular economy development model.

Accompanied by Li Changdong, President of Brunp Recycling, the delegation toured the enterprise exhibition hall at the Innovation Headquarters and went deep into the R&D workshop. They learned about the company’s industrial layout and innovative practices in fields such as waste battery recycling, new energy material technology achievements, green and low-carbon sustainable development, and global expansion driven by both technology and resources.

President Li Changdong introduced the company’s history from its founding in Foshan to its current position as a global industry leader. Brunp Recycling has established a full ecological closed loop spanning “battery production – application – recycling and resource regeneration”. It not only ensures a stable raw material supply for CATL, but also underpins the sustainable development of China’s new energy vehicle industry.

Meanwhile, in the global waste battery recycling sector, Brunp Recycling has taken the lead in solving the industry-wide challenge of "waste material regeneration". Yu Haijun, Vice President of Brunp Recycling, reported to the inspection team on the company’s innovative scientific research capabilities. "Brunp Laboratory" covers all key links across the entire battery lifecycle, from mineral resource development, battery recycling, precursor manufacturing, and material production to circular regeneration, leading continuous technological breakthroughs across the entire battery recycling industry chain.

Vice Chairman He Wei emphasized the need to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourses on circular economy and the decisions and arrangements made by the Party Central Committee. Through law enforcement inspections, we will further deepen our understanding of Xi Jinping Thought on Eco-Civilization, strengthen the publicity and popularization of relevant laws, and leverage the power of the rule of law to advance the high-quality development of the circular economy. Efforts will also be made to further improve resource utilization efficiency, elevate the level of recycling and reuse, and provide strong support for accelerating the green transformation of development models, safeguarding national resource security, and actively yet prudently advancing the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.
