On June 24th, the National Science and Technology Conference, the National Science and Technology Award Conference, and the Conference of Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering were held in Beijing. The Technology and Application of Efficient and Low-carbon Treatment of Lithium Battery Solid Waste in the Whole Process Optimization, won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. Cao Hongbin, a researcher of the Institute of Process Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and lifelong chief scientist of Brunp, is the first person to complete the project, and Brunp is the second person to complete the project.
The National Science and Technology Award, established by the State Council, is the highest award in the field of science and technology in China. It is divided into five awards: the National Highest Science and Technology Award, the National Natural Science Award, the National Technological Innovation Award, the National Award for Science and Technology Progress, and the International Science and Technology Cooperation Award of China. This year, 250 projects were selected for the National Science and Technology Awards.
