     On May 26, 2010, the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association hosted at Tsinghua University the “Key Technologies for Clean Recycling of Waste Battery Materials, which was completed by Foshan Brunp Nickel and Cobalt Technology Co., Ltd., Tsinghua University, and Beijing General Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. And its industrialization" project achievement appraisal meeting. The appraisal committee consists of Professor Niu Yinjian, Vice President of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, Professor Qiu Dingfan, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Deputy Director of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy and Materials of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor Zhang Guocheng of the Beijing Nonferrous Metals Research Institute, School of Engineering, Peking University Professor Wang Xidong, Dean of the Department of Energy and Resource Engineering, Researcher Zhu Wangxi, Department of Engineering and Materials, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Professor Zhang Chuanfu, School of Metallurgical Science and Engineering, Central South University, Professor Guo Zhancheng, Associate Dean of the School of Metallurgy and Ecological Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing, China Nonferrous Engineering Design Professor Lu Yeda, deputy chief engineer of the Central Research Institute, and researcher Qi Tao, director of the National Engineering Laboratory of Cleaner Production Technology of Hydrometallurgy, Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, are composed of experts. Company President Li Changdong attended the appraisal meeting and thanked all the experts for unanimously passing the appraisal.

The appraisal committee listened carefully to the technical research report made by Dr. Xu Shengming on behalf of the project team, and watched the production site video. At the same time, on May 20th, some experts who had visited the Brunp Hunan production base in person with President Niu and his entourage made an explanation of the inspection situation. After full discussion and inquiries, the appraisal committee agreed that the "Key Technologies and Industrialization of the Clean Recycling of Waste Battery Materials" project is groundbreaking and of great significance to the clean recycling of used batteries. The overall technology has reached the international advanced level. It is recommended to further promote and apply. .
